About us

Accessibility without jargon for content creators. We make accessibility easy.

Accessibility Made Easy is a not-for-profit organisation whose aim is to create a more accessible world. We believe that every person, no matter the ability or environment, should be able to access the same information as everyone else.

We started Accessibility Made Easy as the existing training out there can be generic, confusing and primarily aimed at developers or designers. We want to help the people who are actually creating content, documents or training materials become more accessible. We teach you how you can make a difference with simple changes. We look at real examples of your work and provide custom feedback and guidance. Read more about training.

We also specialise in creating Easy Reads for your content. Easy Read is a way of content writing for people with learning disabilities but can be used by anyone who wants to read information in a simple way. We launched Easy Reader, our Easy Read finder in 2023. Easy Reads can be very difficult to find so we wanted to help people search by topic to find what they need. To request a custom Easy Read for your business, contact us.

The types of people we work with include:

  • Marketing and communications teams

  • HR departments

  • Educators

  • Social media teams

  • Community groups

Katie’s unparalleled knowledge of accessibility requirements has really brought SeeAbility on leaps and bounds, meaning we can now feel confident we’re providing a fully accessible user experience for people with learning disabilities, autistic people and those with visual impairments.
